About NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding and support to Australians under the age of 65 who are living with a permanent and significant disability, assisting them to live as independently as possible.

Who can access the NDIS?

In order to be eligible, people with disabilities must meet the following requirements

  • Have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities
  • Be under 65 years of age when they first access the scheme.
  • Be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or who holds a Protected Special Category Visa

How do I apply?
